The average Homo sapien back then was tall, muscular, agile, athletic, and incredibly versatile. The average Homo sapien today is overweight, out of shape, stressed out, unhappy, sleep deprived and dying from different preventable diseases. So what happened? Agriculture! A few thousand years ago humans discovered farming. The agricultural revolution took off, and we advanced from hunter-gatherers to farmers. We now eat bread, rice, pasta and we settled down to eating food that is human made, full of sodium and sugar. We buy products that have harmful chemicals and preservatives. Good news is, the Paleo diet isn't difficult to maintain at all. Let's go back to basics and eat the kind of food our body is biologically designed to eat. For breakfast, "Paleo Tuna Avocado Salad" is an easy gluten free morning munch that you will surely enjoy! The avocado pairs well with the savory taste of tuna. Add a little lemon juice and chopped onion for a perfect breakfast meal! For lunch, "Paleo Lasagna" is a perfect meal to serve to your non-paleo friends, partners, or fussy kids. It's so yummy, hearty and filling; that they won't even notice it's missing the pasta because it still retains the traditional shape, layers, colors and flavors. For dinner, "Quinoa Crusted Chicken with Peanut Sauce over Soba Noodles" is a combination of savory, crunchy, juicy and umami. You can never go wrong with this dish. The peanut sauce in the soba noodles is so yummy to eat along with the crunchy chicken. You will think twice if this is even a Paleo meal. For snack, "Fried Zucchini with Dill Dip" is perfect to munch while watching movies. It tastes crunchy good with a perfect kick from the dip. Now that's a whole day of perfect Paleo yumminess!
